Aims & Objectives of the Bromley Trust:

  1. To combat violations of human rights and help victims of torture, refugees from oppression and those who have been falsely imprisoned; to help those who have suffered severe bodily or mental hurt through no fault of their own and if need be help their dependents; to try in some small way to offset man's inhumanity to man.

  2. To promote Prison Reform within the United Kingdom with particular emphasis on the reduction of re-offending.

  3. To oppose the extinction of the world's fauna and flora and the destruction of the environment for wildlife and for mankind worldwide.

  4. We recognise that the Covid-19 outbreak is having an exceptional impact on charities and their beneficiaries. Regrettably Trustees have taken the decision to suspend our usual application process until August 2020 to enable us to focus our limited resources on our existing grantees. We understand that this will be disappointing to potential beneficiaries but feel that this is the right course of action under the circumstances. Please do not submit new applications to us. We suggest you contact your local Community Foundation https://www.ukcommunityfoundations.org/ Information on other sources of funding can also be found at https://www.grantfinder.co.uk/coronavirus.

If you are an existing grantee, the Bromley Trust has signed up to the Funder Covid-19 statement which can be viewed at http://covid19funders.org.uk/ Please talk to us if we can be of any assistance during this challenging time.
